Simon James Concept Store products now available online
Simon James Concept Store, at home with fellow elite luxury brands from New Zealand and around the globe in Auckland’s The Department Store, has now gone viral, offering its products to all the nation with the click of a button. I’ve always been a huge fan of the quality pieces of furniture Simon James Design offers and now has a beautifully edited collection of designer accessories to complete the shopping experience. My favourite picks would have to be the wooden animal boxes by Big Apple resident Karl Zahn, which work both as cute ornaments and as hidden treasure troves. These are available in the whale, walrus and a lama.
Award winning interior and designer, Harry Allen’s take on the traditional piggy bank, Bank in the Form of a Pig, is formed from resin from a cast of a real pig! He assures us the pig died of natural causes and ten dollars from each sale is donated to the Humane Society to prevent cruelty to animals. Totally cute and totally animal friendly! These are available in black , white, silver and gold.
My third choice would be David Mooreland’s Knight Light. It’s just the perfect shape to sit on my little Kartell Componibili round storage units at my bedside. Available in white, black and peach.
